Don Julio is a brand of tequila produced in Mexico since 1942, that revolutionized the world of tequila by prioritizing quality over quantity, a brand which perfected their craft, introducing new techniques, and always finding ways to improve.

the objective
To create an iconic, distinctive and valuable special edition of Don Julio 70 and Don Julio Reposado Tequila, which honors and recognizes the effort and the resilience of the community, besides supporting the reactivation of restaurants and bars in Mexico.
the solution
We created a mark of Don Julio tipping his iconic hat as a symbol of reverence and appreciation directed at the resilient community of Mexico paired with the campaign slogan “Me quito el sombrero” (I tip my hat).
As a tribute to Don Julio’s hand-built brand, we hand-painted names of mexican business owners adding Don and Doña as a symbol of utmost respect.
Additionally a medal was added to the bottle’s ribbon as a token for business owners to display proudly. — (A)
